Having grown up in the car industry scene, Dan has an inherent
understanding when dealing with customers and their cars, which shows in
the professional care he demonstrates both when face to face or when
working in the engine room.
PS Automotive, established in Pukekohe in 2008, continues to build on its reputation as one of the most highly respected workshops. Dan joined in 2015 working alongside the previous owner, making the move from a European manufacturer base workshop in Newmarket where he gained an extensive skill set, expert knowledge and an appreciation for the complexity of European diagnostics, repairs and maintenance.
Dan and Tash gave the city life a good run before deciding to move back to their home town of Pukekohe, South Auckland, to be closer to family. Starting their own young family led to some life evaluation and then the exciting purchase of PS Automotive, which was a natural fit for the pair. Having been in a relationship for over 15 years means their business is fronted by the most close knit team based on communication and honesty.
Tash, rivalling Dan’s interest in the industry and equalling his passion for genuine care of customers, is usually found keeping the PS Automotive engine running behind the front desk. Tash is no stranger to hard work on the floor and is enviably adept at juggling being super Mum to two boys and managing the business backing up Dan.
Rounding out the team is Matt, our highly valued qualified mechanic. As a diesel and European specialist, Matt fits right into the team with an exceptional work ethic, attention to detail and passion for the automotive industry.

We take the time to discuss all preventative maintenance required with you so that you know what to expect in your upcoming service.
